The images imply an air of intimacy, something sexual, playful and potentially sordid. They create a feeling within the viewer of witnessing an event about to take place, happening there and then or having already happened. They instill a need for evaluation, the recognition of what is being seen and how the viewer should allow themselves to see it, inviting them to not only observe but partially participate in something that perhaps they were not meant to see. The viewer is the voyeur, a witness that constructs a narrative based upon the images, which are indulgent and both personal and detached. These snapshot pictures reveal a pleasure of the senses, drawing and teasing the viewer into the sexual situation and the suggestive fusion of erotic tension, selective nudity and objects which serve to represent the build up, come down and activity of the ambiguous moment.
